Its not improved since - it is still 'Grim'.
We looked at putting our boat into the harbour but it was too big for them to handle so we had to go to Hull.
Grimsby (around the harbour) is just a derelict wasteland of old industrial buildings for about a mile in any direction - tried to walk to the chippy but gave up as when we came out of the old industrial area we entered the derelict and boarded up shopping and housing streets.
There must be some nice areas but we didn't find them.
