Maybe not a bullet to continue with in the .303 Goosic, but still very interesting, that a bullet of this diameter performs so well in a barrel with grooves likely in the .314" range.

Maybe not a bullet to continue with in the .303 Goosic, but still very interesting, that a bullet of this diameter performs so well in a barrel with grooves likely in the .314" range.
I know the Hornady rounds at .3105" perform V well in some new .303 barrels, and wonder (off topic wondering!) why we generally use .310-.312 bullets in the Finn Mosin Nagants, where the bores are often about .3095".
This is just a generalisation, as it's off topic, and not a thing to discuss here.
(But I still wonder!)
