Hi guys ,
started test of PPU 182 gr FMJ BT
yesterday , 100 mt , sitting , forward rest , 22°celsius , cloudy , windy ,
some rain some time ....i tried anyway
a) IMR4895 40,3 -Case Federal -Primer RWS -OAL 78,5
three shot of approach , then a group of 5 about 4 /5 " :((![Ermm]( "Ermm")
b) IMR4064 38,2 -Case Fed. -Primer GM210M - same OAL
seven shots , group of about 3" ....better![Thumbs Up]( "Thumbs Up")
c) Vihta N150 41,2 - Case Fed. - Primer RWS - same OAL
five shots .....a watering can :(( ![Disapprove]( "Disapprove")
i decided i have to work only on the combination b) (quite promising ) -
the bullet seem to have a high BC - (his lenght is 33,3 mm =1,31" , quite more than Sierra ),
but it is just a little small in diam . ( .3106 ) and this require IMHO a load not too "hard"
and a powder just a little faster then N150
the photo , ....the next time , for now i would to avoid some ..."lol" from you ![Wink]( "Wink")
