Subject: Annealing brass????

I thought you would be just annealing the necks, hence the advice about the problem with S&B. I generally don't bother annealing and get ten to twelve loadings out of neck sized Privi Brass and eight to ten out of Remington. I occasionally shoot S&B ammo but don't bother reloading the cases. I buy Privi brass in bulk so the cost per case is fairly low.
