You are quite right, if I did go down the road of annealing brass it would only be the neck and shoulder that I annealed. Maybe the way that I explained it was not the best choice of wording. If I misslead you on that one I appologise.

![]() I thought you would be just annealing the necks, hence the advice about the problem with S&B. I generally don't bother annealing and get ten to twelve loadings out of neck sized Privi Brass and eight to ten out of Remington. I occasionally shoot S&B ammo but don't bother reloading the cases. I buy Privi brass in bulk so the cost per case is fairly low. |
I have to say that I prefer to stick to Privi or Norma brass for reloading whenever possible.
