For reference Mk VII ball & a 150 Hornady side by side. The Hornady is the SP with the visible crimping groove.

So roughly what sort of "Jump" do you allow, and what is your OAL with the Hornady 150g head - Not that mine would be exactly the same. I have found that with the 180g FMJ head the OAL is as near as possible right on the maximum stated in the data that I have.
